Classic Boston Black Espresso Martini

Classic Boston Black Espresso Martini

Cold brewed and triple filtered, Boston Black Specialty Coffee Concentrate provides the perfect balanced base for an Espresso Martini—delivering a velvety crema and rich tasting notes of chocolate, caramel, malt, hazelnut, and subtle berries without any harsh bitterness.

Prep Time & Yield

  • Prep Time: 3 minutes
  • Servings: 1 Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 50 ml Boston Black Specialty Coffee Concentrate
  • 45 ml Premium Vodka
  • 15 ml Coffee Liqueur (e.g., Black Geisha Coffee Liqueur)
  • 5–10 ml Simple Syrup (optional, adjust to desired sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (for shaking)
  • 3 Whole Coffee Beans (for garnish)

Equipment Needed

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Fine Mesh Strainer
  • Chilled Martini or Coupe Glass

Instructions

  1. Chill Your Glassware
Fill your martini or coupe glass with ice water or place it in the freezer for a few minutes while preparing the drink.
  2. Combine Ingredients
Add the Boston Black concentrate, vodka, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled generously with fresh ice.
  3. Hard Shake
Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds. Shaking hard breaks up the ice and creates the signature thick, silky foam on top.
  4. Strain & Serve
Discard the ice water from your glass. Fine-strain the cocktail into your chilled glass to keep ice chips out of the foam.
  5. Garnish
Float 3 coffee beans gently on the froth in the center of the glass to represent health, wealth, and happiness.
