Prep Time & Yield
- Prep Time: 3 minutes
- Servings: 1 Cocktail
Ingredients
- 50 ml Boston Black Specialty Coffee Concentrate
- 45 ml Premium Vodka
- 15 ml Coffee Liqueur (e.g., Black Geisha Coffee Liqueur)
- 5–10 ml Simple Syrup (optional, adjust to desired sweetness)
- Ice cubes (for shaking)
- 3 Whole Coffee Beans (for garnish)
Equipment Needed
- Cocktail Shaker
- Fine Mesh Strainer
- Chilled Martini or Coupe Glass
Instructions
-
Chill Your Glassware
Fill your martini or coupe glass with ice water or place it in the freezer for a few minutes while preparing the drink. -
Combine Ingredients
Add the Boston Black concentrate, vodka, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled generously with fresh ice. -
Hard Shake
Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds. Shaking hard breaks up the ice and creates the signature thick, silky foam on top. -
Strain & Serve
Discard the ice water from your glass. Fine-strain the cocktail into your chilled glass to keep ice chips out of the foam. -
Garnish
Float 3 coffee beans gently on the froth in the center of the glass to represent health, wealth, and happiness.
